United Church Homes Announces 2026 Leadership Changes

Clockwise from top: Jodi Naderhoff, Nate Bollinger, and Scott Slutz.

United Church Homes (UCH), CHHSM member and one of the nation’s largest faith-inspired nonprofit providers of senior living and affordable housing, recently announced a series of three executive leadership appointments. All three were effective as of Jan. 1, 2026. These changes reinforce UCH’s organizational strength, operational excellence and long-term commitment to creating “Abundant Life in Community” for thousands of older adults across the country.

“These leadership appointments build on the positive momentum our teams have created across the organization,” said Kenneth Young, president and CEO of United Church Homes. “Together, these executives bring proven leadership experience, deep mission alignment and the strategic vision to guide UCH into a very promising 2026 and beyond.”

Key Leadership Appointments

Jodi Naderhoff was named chief financial officer (CFO). Naderhoff, a seasoned nonprofit healthcare finance leader, succeeds John Renner, who retired at the end of 2025. Naderhoff has served as a strategic consultant to UCH since early 2025, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity in financial oversight.

Scott Slutz is UCH’s chief resources officer. Slutz, a senior leader within UCH for 11 years, will oversee Human Resources, Information Technology, and United Church Homes Management (UCHM). His expanded role strengthens alignment across people systems, technology infrastructure and management services. Slutz also is a 2023 graduate of the Nollau Leadership Institute, and a consecrated Diakonal Minister.

Nate Bollinger has been promoted to senior vice president of asset stewardship. Bollinger, a senior leader within UCH for six years, will lead UCH’s asset stewardship functions, capital improvements, insurance, and the organization’s preservation and redevelopment initiatives across its affordable housing portfolio. In March, Bollinger will graduate from CHHSM’s Nollau Leadership Institute and be consecrated as a Diakonal Minister.

These appointments compliment earlier 2025 leadership enhancements, including the placement of Terry Spitznagel as Chief Operating Officer (COO), supporting both healthcare and affordable housing operations across the organization.

“As we continue to innovate, grow, provide the highest quality of care and housing, and enhance service delivery across all our communities,” Young added, “these leaders will play a critical role in advancing our mission.”
