United Church Funds and UCC Cornerstone Fund Create Online Videos for Church Leaders

The Rev. Charles Buck, president and CEO of United Church Funds (UCF), has announced a new series of 10-minute video resources produced in conjunction with the UCC’s Cornerstone Fund.
The two financial ministries have created the videos specifically for church leaders and members dealing with financial matters:
- 10 Best Practices for a Financially Healthy Congregation
- Building Up to a Building Project
- Investments 101
- Socially Responsible Investing
- Endowment Governance (Fiduciary Best Practices)
The videos can be accessed through the Walker Leadership Institute (select “Church Finance”) of Eden Theological Seminary. The seminary offers certificate ($35) and free options.

In mid-March, 60 Emmaus Advocates (E Advocates) — the grassroots advocacy effort at Emmaus Homes in St. Louis — showed up at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City for Disability Rights Legislative Day (or DRLD), hosted by the Missouri Development Disability Council. Among the group from Emmaus Homes were clients, direct support professionals, a board member, and more. This year’s theme was “We Are Here.” #BeAVoiceCHHSM
