Phoebe Berks Named “Best in Senior Living” by Reading Eagle Readers’ Choice Awards

Phoebe Ministries, based in Allentown, Pa., is thrilled to announce that Phoebe Berks in Wernersville, Pa., has been named “Best in Senior Living” for 2025 by the Reading Eagle’s Readers’ Choice awards.

Residents, staff, family, and friends of Phoebe came together to help Phoebe Berks achieve this distinction, celebrating and recognizing what Phoebe values most: enriching the lives of its older adults.

The news came shortly after Phoebe Berks also received a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

“Everyone here at Phoebe Berks is overjoyed at the continuous recognition that our campus has received,” said Executive Director Heather McCool. “Our team is incredibly dedicated to our residents and the Phoebe mission. It’s a testament to the work we’ve done and continue to do for the betterment of our seniors.”
