New Partnership with BankPlus Strengthens Back Bay Mission’s Housing Recovery Efforts

By Samatha Bell, Back Bay Mission’s housing recovery program manager
Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Miss., is proud to announce a new partnership with BankPlus, whose generous support has already helped transform lives along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Through their recent contribution, Back Bay Mission’s Housing Recovery Program successfully completed eight roof replacements for local families in need, each one representing safety, stability, and hope restored.
After seeing the unique impact of our work and the professionalism of the BBM team, BankPlus reached out to learn more about Back Bay Mission beyond housing recovery. Following a virtual meeting, I shared the full scope of our programs and community impact. The bank then expressed a strong interest in becoming a corporate donor and long-term partner!
BBM staff recently welcomed their leadership team from Jackson, Miss., for a tour of its campus to see firsthand the impact that Back Bay Mission has daily, serving the unhoused, strengthening neighborhoods, and building community.
The team’s enthusiasm and commitment to the BBM mission were evident, and BBM is elated to have BankPlus join the BBM family.
Together, Back Bay Mission and BankPlus looks forward to continuing this partnership and expanding opportunities to make homes safe, sustainable, and dignified for families across the Gulf Coast.
