Unleashing Potential Selected as Core Funded Partner by St. Louis County

Unleashing Potential (UP) has been selected as a 2026-2029 Core Funded Partner by the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund (CSF).

This investment will strengthen Unleashing Potential’s ability to provide students and families with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through this partnership, UP will continue expanding access to programs that promote educational success, family stability, and overall well-being for children across St. Louis County.

“The funding from St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund will support our Strengthening Resilient Families program,” said Bridget Jones, MBA, interim CEO. “This is a new funding source for Unleashing Potential. We are grateful to the St. Louis County Children’s Service Fund for believing in our mission and investing in the future of our community. We look forward to the impact this partnership will make in the years ahead.”

For this funding cycle, CSF allocated more than $146 million to 81 organizations that provide mental and behavioral health services to children and families in St. Louis County—the highest number of organizations funded in a single Core Funding cycle.

“Our partners continue to demonstrate what’s possible when our region invests deeply in the wellbeing of children and families,” said Emily Koenig, executive director of CSF. “This historic group of funded partners — combined with record community participation and a strengthened focus on prevention — represents a community-wide commitment to building a healthier, more resilient St. Louis County.”

Unleashing Potential and the other grant recipients were celebrated at a special event in July.
