United Church Funds Shares Endowment Conference Resources
At the Midwest Regional Endowment Conference held recently at Chicago Theological Seminary, United Church Funds (UCF) hosted plenaries on the global economy, endowment policies, planned giving and socially responsible investing. UCF also provided an overview of its funds and convened a panel discussion called “What Do #BlackLivesMatter and #Occupy Mean About the Economy and our Country?”
The Rev. Starsky Wilson, president and CEO of CHHSM ministry Deaconess Foundation, also participated in the panel.
The afternoon concluded with theological reflections by the Rev. John Dorhauer, general minister and president of the United Church of Christ.
