Archway Housing and Services, Inc., a Colorado faith-based non-profit, is excited to announce that its Board named Sebastian Corradino as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective April 1, 2020. Corradino succeeds Joyce Alms-Ransford who served as Archway’s CEO for 20 years, leading the group in developing and managing 11 multi-family projects for economically marginalized and homeless folks on Colorado’s Front Range.

A Boulder resident, Corradino brings with him a wealth of experience and significant accomplishments in his work in affordable housing and community development. Board President Robinson Lapp notes, “Under Corradino’s extremely well qualified leadership, Archway looks forward to creating many hundreds of additional affordable housing opportunities for marginalized individuals and families.”

Corradino recently served as President of Riverside Capital, a New Jersey-based affordable housing tax credit investment firm, significantly expanding its reach over his six-and-a-half years of leadership there. He was previously the founder and CEO of the Kingswood Group of Akron, Ohio, providing insurance policies for renewable energy and affordable housing tax equity funds. Prior to Kingswood, Corradino served as president and managing director of Royal Bank of Canada’s Tax Credit Equity Group in Cleveland, where he oversaw $2 billion in low-income housing tax credit investments.

Earlier in his career, Corradino founded MissionFirst Development, LLC, a Washington, D.C., development firm that led the production of over $150 million of affordable housing projects resulting in approximately 1,500 units of affordable housing, primarily in the metropolitan D.C., area. Further, he was a founding Partner in JDC Construction, Washington, D.C., which provides construction management services for affordable housing and other asset classes such as schools and health care facilities.

Corradino is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Leeds School of Business. He has also been a lecturer and instructor at the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as Columbia University in New York City. Early in his career, he was a Senior Underwriter at the National Equity Fund in Chicago, originating and underwriting investments in LIHTC transactions.

In addition to a B.A. degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Corradino holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from Columbia University and a J.D. degree from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Va.
