Samaritan Bethany Residents Donate Funds to Local Woman’s Shelter

The Chapel Council at Samaritan Bethany presents the check to the local women’s shelter.

The Chapel Council at Samaritan Bethany in Rochester, Minn., is always looking for ways to increase community outreach. One way is by donating funds collected from chapel attendees to worthwhile causes.

In April 2026, the council donated April’s collection to the women’s shelter, a vital community resource in Rochester. A total of $517.50 was presented to the shelter.

The donation reflects the generosity and compassion of those who attend chapel services and their desire to make a meaningful difference beyond the Samaritan Bethany campus. The women’s shelter provides safety, support, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by domestic violence, offering critical services that help people move toward healing and stability.

Through the shared efforts and generosity, the residents of Samaritan Bethany extend care and kindness to neighbors in need and live out their mission in a tangible way.
