Phoebe Names the Rev. Gina Harvey Regional Director of Pastoral Care and Education

Phoebe Ministries in Allentown, Pa., announced recently that the Rev. Gina Harvey has joined the Phoebe family as the new regional director of pastoral care and education. Harvey is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, a board-certified chaplain, and a certified educator for clinical pastoral education with the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). 

Harvey brings a wealth of experience from her work in both church and hospital settings. Most recently, she served as director of spiritual care services and clinical pastoral educationat Sanford Health in Fargo, N.D. She holds a B.A. degree in education and music from the University of Nebraska–Kearney; earned a Master of Music degree from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio; and received an M.Div. degree from the Iliff School of Theology in Denver.

At Phoebe, Harvey will supervise chaplains across its health care and independent living communities while also providing leadership and oversight to the clinical pastoral education students studying at Phoebe communities.
