United Church of Christ Homes (UCC Homes) is proud to announce that Lauren Clark, executive director of community & home-based services for Kindred Place at Annville, Pa., and Kindred Place at Harrisburg, Pa., has been awarded Leader of the Year as part of the LeadingAge PA’s 2025 Distinguished Service Awards. This award recognizes her exceptional contributions, leadership, and commitment to the mission of UCC Homes.

Meredith Schell Fields, President and CEO of UCC Homes, shared her respect for and admiration of Clark. “Lauren’s leadership is built on kindness, wisdom, compassion, and 34 years of dedicated service to our residents and to UCC Homes,” Schell Fields said. “She exemplifies servant leadership, putting the needs of her team first, helping them grow and perform at their highest possible level. She has built a culture of dignity and respect. I can think of no one more deserving of this award.”

Clark began her ministry with UCC Homes as director of nursing at The Lebanon Valley Home. She was instrumental in embracing and nurturing our Kindred Place model of care, as the Manager of Kindred Place at Annville before assuming the executive director role for both Kindred Place locations. Clark is loved and respected by all those who are fortunate enough to know her, and her impact on the senior living industry is outstanding.

“This year’s Distinguished Service Award honorees are shining examples of excellence in service, whether they are uplifting residents, working hand in hand with colleagues, or driving positive change in their communities,” said LeadingAge PA President and CEO Garry Pezzano. “We take pride in honoring the remarkable impact of their unwavering dedication and leadership.”
