Horizon House Calls New Director of Culture and Care

Horizon House, a UCC-related retirement community in Seattle, Wash., has hired Scott Hulet as Director of Culture & Care. He will be responsible for inspiring and facilitating a culture of care and a hospitality-based approach to our delivery of clinical care services.

Hulet has spent much of his career in senior living, including managing skilled nursing facilities, assisted living and independent living campuses. Most recently, he served as Executive Director of Wesley Homes, Lea Hill, a Continuing Care Retirement Community in Auburn, Wash. During his tenure there, he was a member of several volunteer boards: the Pierce County Council on Aging, the Long Term Care Ombudsman Advisory Council, North Park University Board of Trustees, and the Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Seattle Pacific University, a Master of Arts from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a Master of Divinity from Western Evangelical Seminary.
