Hoffman Homes for Youth Receives Nonprofit of Year Award

Hoffman Homes for Youth in Littlestown, Pa., recently received We were the Non-Profit of the Year award from the New Oxford Area Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented by Heather Laughman, chamber board member and owner of HD Entertainment, LLC. Laughman also is a Hoffman Homes donor and friend.

“It has been an extremely difficult time, and community members recognizing the work we do is so humbling, touching and such an honor,” said Rebecca Van der Groef, CEO and president. “We are extremely grateful to all who support us and help us continue fighting to keep our program going through what feels like a never-ending pandemic.”

“To our employees, your work does not go unnoticed,” Van der Groef added. “You do amazing things every day, and we appreciate you. To our donors and supporters, we wouldn’t be here without you — thank you!”
