Embrace Living Communities Named One of the 2018 Best Workplaces for Aging Services by Great Place to Work and FORTUNE

The ranking considered more than 162,000 employee surveys from companies in the Aging Services industry. Great Place to Work, a global people analytics and consulting firm, evaluated more than 50 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included the extent to which employees trust leaders, the respect with which people are treated, the fairness of workplace decisions and how much camaraderie there is among the team. Rankings are based on employees’ feedback and reward companies who best include all employees, no matter who they are or what they do for the organization. Embrace Living Communities took the #5 spot on the list!

The Best Workplaces for Aging Services stand out for excelling in the industry’s rapidly-changing marketplace. Embrace Living Communities has enhanced their culture in the last year through a variety of strategies.  A few of those include:

  • A 100 participation participation in an employee book club. The most recent read was “Dare to Serve” and it has served as a great catalyst for opportunities for excellence in service to others.
  • A balanced life environment. The culture of Embrace Living is set to support employees, so they embrace life to the fullest by providing simple benefits that are highly rated by all.

Embrace Living Communities is a non-profit organization that provides actively aging adults affordable, welcoming homes in communities that embrace living.  The CHHSM member consists of more than 35 housing communities and serves more than 3,000 seniors and people with disabilities across three states.
