Embrace Living Communities Announces Key Leadership Promotions

Embrace Living Communities, based in Oak Brook, Ill., recently announced significant leadership changes. Embrace Living serves nearly 2,500 older adults and persons with disabilities across 29 communities in Illinois, Missouri, and Florida.

Wayne Foley has been appointed chief operating officer (COO). In his time at Embrace Living, Foley has demonstrated exemplary leadership, integrity, and innovative guidance.

With more than 30 years of executive leadership experience, he has served as CFO and CEO for numerous companies. His combined CEO and CFO experience brings a unique perspective on business strategy and operational excellence.

Dawn Zenkner has been promoted to vice president of finance. Zenkner has more than 20 years of dedicated service to Embrace Living Communities. She has played a critical role in the organization’s financial stewardship, including leading successful refinance projects across multiple communities. In her new role, she will lead the finance team in managing comprehensive financial operations, overseeing investment policies, legal compliance, and risk management, ensuring continued organizational stability and mission success.

Together, Foley and Zenkner will help guide Embrace Living Communities as it continues to provide affordable, welcoming housing solutions for older adults and persons with disabilities.
