EdenHill Recognized with Community Impact LeadingAge Texas Award

EdenHill Communities of New Braunfels, Texas, was recognized for its community impact during LeadingAge Texas’ 2025 Annual Conference and Solutions EXPO, held May 19-21 in Austin. EdenHill received the Excellence in Community Impact Award.

The seven categories of awards given by LeadingAge Texas spotlights the outstanding achievements of aging services professionals. The awards honor the vision, innovation, and dedication that enrich the lives of aging Texans and highlight the incredible work of not-for-profit teams across the state.

Specifically, EdenHill was recognized for its profound and far-reaching effects on the broader community through its long-standing CNA training program. The award is given annual to organizations showcasing exceptional outreach initiatives that extend beyond their organizational boundaries. This accolade honors the commitment of volunteers, leadership, and staff in addressing critical community needs, aligning with the organization’s non-profit mission to make a tangible difference in the community at large.

While many communities recently have adopted and implemented on-site CNA training programs in an effort to combat persistent workforce challenges, EdenHill has been providing this valuable community resource for more than 35 years to not only strengthen a single facility, but to create a stronger community as a whole. 

EdenHill’s CNA classes contribute to stronger communities by providing essential healthcare services, creating job opportunities, supporting vulnerable populations, and fostering compassion and care. They help bridge the gap in healthcare services while empowering individuals and improving the overall quality of life in the community.
