Cedar Community Welcomes James Karls as CFO

James E. Karls, CPA, has been appointed CFO of Cedar Community in West Bend, Wis. He began his new role in November.

With more than 20 years’ experience in corporate finance in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, Karls brings a deep background in financial modeling, fiscal analysis, budgeting, and planning. He has served in roles of increasing responsibility at such organizations as Fiserv Inc, Deloitte, Brookdale Senior Living and, most recently, Discovery World. 

Karls will lead the financial services team at Cedar Community and also serve on the executive council.
