Carolina SeniorCare Honors Love of Neighbor

Carolina SeniorCare, in Lexington, N.C. — part of United Church Homes and Services — will be honoring Love of Neighbor in November as a part of their ministry and in partnership with the United Church of Christ’s vision of a just world for all.

The United Church of Christ’s vision of a just world for all is expressed through Love of Neighbor, Love of Children and Love of Creation. Over the next three years they, along with community partners, will highlight how they are impacting and uniting to create a common purpose and mission.

Week 2:  “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be satisfied.”

Carolina SeniorCare will hold food drives for the Davidson County food pantry and the Davidson County animal shelter.

Week 3:  “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Carolina SeniorCare will provide scarves, hats, socks, and gloves for the homeless shelter in Lexington.

Week 4:  “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.”
