Back Bay Mission Embarks on Housing Recovery Partnership with BankPlus

Back Bay Mission (BBM) in Biloxi, Miss., is proud to announce a new partnership with BankPlus, whose generous support has already helped transform lives along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Through BankPlus’ recent contribution, BBM’s Housing Recovery Program successfully completed eight roof replacements for local families in need, each one representing safety, stability, and hope restored.

After seeing the unique impact of BBM’s work and the professionalism of the Back Bay Mission team, BankPlus reached out to learn more about Back Bay Mission beyond housing recovery. Following a virtual meeting, I shared the full scope of BBM’s programs and community impact. The bank then expressed a strong interest in becoming a corporate donor and long-term partner!

We recently welcomed BankPlus’ leadership team from Jackson, Miss., for a tour of our campus to see firsthand the impact that Back Bay Mission has daily, serving the unhoused, strengthening neighborhoods, and building community.

Their enthusiasm and commitment to the BBM mission was evident, and BBM is truly elated to have BankPlus join the BBM family! BBM looks forward to continuing this partnership and expanding opportunities to make homes safe and sustainable for families across the Gulf Coast.
