Director of Spiritual Life: Abernethy Laurels

Abernethy Laurels is a not-for-profit EveryAge continuing care retirement community founded through the United Church of Christ, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Newton, North Carolina. The position will be available in December.

This person will be responsible for planning and directing the services of the Spiritual Life Program designed to meet the diverse spiritual and emotional needs of residents, staff and family members of the community, who come from a variety of faith traditions and backgrounds.

Qualified applicants will be an ordained minister with full standing in the UCC (or ability to obtain the same) strongly preferred, a minimum of five years of experience in either pastoral, clinical, or institutional ministry, and CPE experience strongly preferred.
