Anonymous Donor Sparks Important Fundraising Drive for Peppermint Ridge

Thanks to an anonymous donor, Peppermint Ridge is in the middle of a fundraising campaign.

Peppermint Ridge in Corona, Calif., is more than a place to live—it’s a community that grows and changes with each person the Ridge serves. Recently, an anonymous donor stepped up to help further the Ridge’s mission.

From now through Dec. 31, 2025, every gift to Peppermint Ridge will be matched by the anonymous donor, dollar for dollar, up to $100,000. That means donations will go twice as far to propel Peppermint Ridge’s mission of providing empowering support, homes, and lasting friendships for residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Debbie

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID: 95-2409851), 100 percent of proceeds go directly to support Peppermint Ridge programs and residents.

At Peppermint Ridge, when residents’ needs evolve, the Ridge adapts their care so they can continue to live among the people they know and love. This fundraising match helps ensure no one has to leave their Ridge family just because their level of care changes.

For example, Debbie has been part of Peppermint Ridge for decades. Over the years, she’s transitioned from Community Care to Intermediate Care, and now lives in Peppermint Ridge’s newest Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (Stein Home) — all while staying connected to her friends and the community she loves. Debbie’s story embodies what makes the Ridge unique: no matter how needs change, we remain a lifelong home.

Paul and Brian

Peppermint Ridge provides an ongoing place for nurturing family and friend relationships. The story of Paul and Brian is a perfect example.

Paul and Brian met at the Ridge last year and instantly connected—two friends who quickly became brothers. They share laughter, routines, and a sense of belonging that can’t be replaced. Their friendship reminds everyone why the Ridge exists: to create a lifelong community where no one faces life’s changes alone.
