The Rev. Bryan W. Sickbert, President & CEO
Since 1991, Bryan has brought his skilled and creative leadership to CHHSM’s evolving ministry. Prior to leading CHHSM, Bryan was administrative resident and director of medical affairs with Advocate Health Care, Chicago at Good Samaritan and Bethany Hospitals. He has also served as minister of mission at First United Church of Oak Park, Ill., and director of housing rehabilitation for the Village of Oak Park. Bryan holds a master of divinity degree from the Chicago Theological Seminary and an MBA in finance and nonprofit and health systems management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

The Rev. William R. Johnson, Vice President
Bill joined the CHHSM staff in 2005 after nearly four decades of service in the wider church as an organizer, educator, pastor and administrator. For 18 years, he served on the UCC national staff in administrative, programmatic and executive positions. Bill founded the UCC Coalition for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Concerns in 1972 and was the primary author of most of the UCC’s social justice policies regarding LGBT concerns. He co-authored the UCC’s HIV/AIDS prevention curriculum, “Affirming Persons – Saving Lives.” In 1999, the UCC established the William R. Johnson Scholarship Fund for LGBT seminarians in his honor. Bill is a member of Liberation UCC, Lakewood, Ohio. He is a graduate of Elmhurst College (BA), the Pacific School of Religion (MDiv) and the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality (EdD).

Michael J. Readinger, Vice President
Mike came to CHHSM in 2005 from Morgan Stanley in Cleveland, where he was associate vice president and financial advisor for 12 years. Prior to his work in financial services, Mike managed several successful and popular restaurants and was president of his own consulting firm. Mike holds a BA in psychology from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Cleveland State University. He has served on the board of trustees of United Church Foundation and on the investment advisory committee of the Western Reserve Association of the Ohio Conference UCC. He is president of the Cleveland Synergy Foundation, an organization committed to enhancing the economy, image and quality of life in greater Cleveland by attracting and creating athletic and cultural events. He is a member of Liberation UCC, Lakewood, Ohio.

Eileen M. Nagy, Support Systems Manager, Corporate Secretary, Financial Management
Eileen joined CHHSM in 2011 bringing with her an extensive background in administration, financials and information technology. Prior to joining the CHHSM family, she served as billing specialist at Cornerstone Pharmacy, a long-term care pharmacy that supplies to rehabilitation centers and nursing communities throughout Ohio. Eileen serves as corporate secretary on CHHSM’s Board of Directors. She also provides administrative support, event planning, as well as managing and implementing CHHSM’s information and communications systems.

The Rev. Danielle K. Bartz, Program Associate
Danielle joined the CHHSM staff in 2013 after spending three years as lead chaplain at MaineGeneral Medical Center in Waterville, Maine. Originally from Rochester, Minn., Danielle received a bachelor's degree in psychology and religious studies from the University of Iowa in Iowa City in 2005. She then received a master of divinity degree from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis in 2008 and completed her clinical pastoral education residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., in 2009. She was ordained in the United Church of Christ in 2012.

Daniel Pryfogle, Senior Consultant
Daniel manages CHHSM’s activities in leadership formation, culture formation and consulting. He has assisted the association since 2006. His firm, Signal Hill of Cary, N.C., also coordinates CHHSM’s marketing and communications. As principal and creative director of Signal Hill, Daniel works with nonprofits, congregations and social enterprises nationwide in the areas of leadership and communications. His passion is helping individuals and groups discern and declare their missions. Daniel earned his master of divinity degree from the American Baptist Seminary of the West.

Cathy Gordon, Communications Consultant
Cathy a multimedia producer for The Signal Hill. A multimedia journalist with a passion for storytelling in the nonprofit sector, Cathy earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication with a news-editorial concentration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She worked as a writer and marketing professional for United Way before earning a master’s degree in interactive media from Elon University. As part of her graduate research, she wrote a book titled “Marketing Your Business in an Interactive Age: The Manual for Every Growing Small Business and Nonprofit.”
