The Legacy Place Neighborhood at Phoebe Allentown Health Care Center in Allentown, Pa., has earned the status of The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Excellence in Care Program of Distinction. Phoebe’s Legacy Place is one of only 30 dementia care facilities in the country, and one of seven in Pennsylvania, to receive such recognition.

At the 25th Annual Westberg Parish Nurse Symposium, Rev. Dr. Deborah Patterson, former executive director of the International Parish Nurse Resource Center (IPNRC), speaking on behalf of the board of managers of Deaconess Parish Nurse Ministries , announced that the assets, programs, and services of the International Parish Nurse Resource Center (IPNRC) will be moved to the Church Health Center (CHC) in Memphis, Tenn., beginning October 1.
