Phoebe Berks earned the status of The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America Excellence in Care Program of Distinction. As of September 2013, Phoebe Ministries operates four memory support communities of only nine in Pennsylvania that have achieved the Excellence in Care status from the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Phoebe was the first organization in Pennsylvania to achieve this status.

CHHSM ministry Brewster Place is leading the way to a healthier community in Topeka, Kan. The continuing care retirement community has joined with area hospitals, universities and local health care providers to form the Capital Care Transitions Coalition, a partnership devoted to improving the transition from hospital to home and reducing unnecessary hospital readmissions.
