The Digging Deeper initiative helps CHHSM ministries pursue their missions by drawing upon the resources of faith heritage, spirituality and foundational values.
Digging Deeper aims to heighten historical and theological awareness through personal and corporate stories, thereby strengthening and sustaining individuals and organizations. The program engages participants in reflecting upon the living histories of their organizations and invites them to discover their place in that history.
Diakonal Ministers, who have been trained in the process of appreciative inquiry, facilitate Digging Deeper engagements. Each engagement is customized to explore the particular history and spirituality of the organization and its employees. Through an inclusive and inspiring process, the organization and its employees discover the relevancy and power of faith heritage for ministry today.
